Here is a picture of my sister and I Christmas morning 51 years ago. We are 9 years apart in age but as close as two sisters can be. - Terri A

This is from Christmas 1964, when my parents thought it would be great for my brother & myself to play Christmas songs. I am on the violin, and my brother is on the clarinet. Each of our sheet music was apparently in a different key. You can guess how it sounded ;-) but it made our parents happy. Neither of us continued to play music more than a few more years, but it did give us an appreciation of the effort involved to play good music, let alone great music. - Carol

4 generation family photo - my Grandmother, who joined us for the holidays in the mid 80's, my parents, me in the right corner, and my children. You might recognize that my Dad resembled Buddy Holly. He was often mistaken for Mr. Holly in the 50's when he was in his early 20's. I am sure you can imagine the attention my Dad received when he was younger because of this - especially from women, he was quite popular. - Debbie A

This must be 1964. My favorite memory was going to the city of Grand Rapids MI during the Christmas season with my parents and my sisters (before the boys were born). We would be all bundled up all snuggly in our best church coat and mufflers and we would walk all over downtown looking in the store windows enchanted by the moving dolls Christmas display. Then we would go to the dept store and get our pics taken. I am the one in the white hat! To this day I always liked a man with a beard and mustache and presents :) Merry Christmas! - Kathleen M
