Opening Act Contest

You and your band could win the opportunity to be the opening act for Blue Sky Riders (Kenny Loggins, Georgia Middleman, Gary Burr) at one of their 2 album listening parties in 2015! Blue Sky Riders conducted a successful Kickstarter campaign in order to record and release their much anticipated second album, and as a way to thank everyone for the awesome support… and to help budding artists make their own dreams come true, they’d love to discover you and your songs too! One party will take place in beautiful, sunny Southern California (city TBD) and the other in the ‘Live Music Capitol of the World’, Nashville, TN. You’ve given so much to Blue Sky Riders… and now it’s their turn to give back to you!

The Opportunity

Win the chance to perform live as an opening act to Blue Sky Riders in Southern California (city TBD) or Nashville, TN. You will have the opportunity to soundcheck and mingle with Blue Sky Riders members, Kenny Loggins, Georgia Middleman, and Gary Burr; and to perform as their opening act in front of an exclusive group of fans and music industry movers and shakers. Blue Sky Riders will pay for your travel, ground transportation, and hotel accommodations for 2 lucky bands (limited to $2000 value). The Band

To enter the ‘Kickin’ it Back’ Opening Act Contest, bands are required to submit a music video (4 mins max) via Sonicbids* from July 30, 2014 to December 31, 2014.

4 to 6 finalists will be chosen by Blue Sky Riders. Finalists will then be voted on by the general public for 31 days through Blue Sky Riders official website. The Gig

Blue Sky Riders will be releasing their second album in 2015 (date TBA) and will be holding 2 separate listening parties for those that contributed to their Kickstarter campaign, friends, family, and music industry movers and shakers. The band wants to give 2 lucky unknown bands the opportunity to share the spotlight! One party will be held in Southern California (city & venue TBA) and one in Nashville, TN (venue TBA).
