With two days left, we were in the mood for adventure!!

We climbed on a train called Dart (“A Train Called Dart” was a tragically underrated TV show in the sixties about a lovable train and its overweight engineer, Captain Lardo) and headed up the coast to a town called Howth. Howth is right on the coast and was supposed to be charming and crawling with oysters. (note to self: screenplay idea… small town overrun by oysters that have suddenly learned how to crawl.) This town lived up to its reputation. We had a lunch there that was unbelievable.
