Summer Tour: Tough Show

We have had a terrific run of great shows. But, you may ask, how do we know they’re great if there is nothing to compare them to? We need what’s known in the scientific community as a “control.” This is a show we can compare every new show to… and basically say…”Well, at least it […]

Sleep a full eight hours and get on the bus for a two hour drive to the next show? Crawl into the ol’ bunk and take a nap. It’s really quite amazing. When this tour is over, I should have a sleep reserve built up so I can stay awake till 2016. (more…)

Tonite we played in Aberdeen, WA. It was an old place… the D &R Theatre. We didn’t have a lot of time for a sound check cause Kenny is working up some new songs in his set and when we DID sound check it sounded really bass-y and boomy and we got nervous about how the actual show was gonna sound. It wasn’t a good omen when dinner was spaghetti and lasagna. Our band is pretty carb and gluten free and we certainly don’t eat cheese before a show. Bet you didn’t know there were so many rules to this, did you? (more…)
