I told her that if she will sign a contract guaranteeing that SHE shovels the snow then I am down with the idea. Our Texas girl has no idea what it is like to wake up to three feet of snow and a frozen dog on the porch. (more…)

9.22.12 When the entire audience is composed of people you went to high school with it is very hard to stand on stage and act like a rock star. Hard, but not impossible. Tonight we played Infinity Hall in Norfolk, CT, and it was close enough to my home town to make it feel like my reunion. We have been looking forward to this venue for a long time. 9.20.12  Tonight’s show at the Tupelo Music Hall in Londonderry, New Hampshire was the Bizarro version of our last show. It was a very small club… about 200 people… and the room’s a weird configuration. At sound check we could NOT get the sound right. The bass rumbled so badly it loosened the fillings in my teeth. The voices had this feedback frequency that made them sound like the sound a Bavarian guy makes playing crystal wine glasses. (Pretty at Christmastime, but not cool now). Nothing we did could clear it up so we just shrugged our shoulders and said ” we will do the best we can tonight and try not to hurt anyone.” (more…)
